Years of letting other people make decisions, and changing my dreams and aspirations for other people finally took its toll on me. I packed up and jumped ship into a van and haven't looked back since. Wanting to explore the world as much as I can and having my best mates with me just makes it better. Forge your own path and make meaningful choices that will positively benefit you without needing you to sacrifice things that you hold dear.
The point in life is not to lie perfectly preserved in your coffin, its to fly in sideways battered and bruised screaming "that was a hell of a ride".
You only get one shot, make it count.

Travelling for me is a chance to escape the Ring Wraithes who torment me for my uncles ring of ultimate power, the opportunity to distance myself from wizards and evil powers.
I also enjoy trying various foods, so long as I already know that I like them. And learning small amounts of languages so that when I say them wrong I simply point to things, safe in the knowledge that I tried and failed.
A determination to travel and live life is what drives me, inspired by my family who all live in the same town and settle at the first opportunity, I wish to do the exact opposite. Follow my blog for insights into how to say “no sorry I don’t like X food” and how to entertain yourself with limited funds

So far traveling is about broadening the lens through which I view the world we live in and the people we meet. I enjoy taking time in the beauty and simplicity of the lifestyle to recentre, connect inwardly and develop a deeper appreciation and gratitude for things. Languages fascinate me so I like the encouragement that traveling offers to develop my skills in communication. Oh, and it all helps me avoid my deepest fear- working in a local supermarket for 40 years and playing Candy Crush with all my spare time while believing I'm living a fulfilling life. Shit son.

While leading a very average life, I took some holiday through a small portion of Europe. After returning home, I longed to get some more excitement back in my life - motorcycles and fancy computers didn't do it for me, so I decided to get out there and travel the world. What could get more exciting than that?!
I strive for a better quality of life where I can experience what it is to live as a free spirit with limitless opportunities to explore.
I want to share my experiences with the world so that others who are stuck in the same loop I was can see it's all possible.

How To Make The VanLife Work For You

Well, the good news is that the "Vanlife-style" is a very flexible one - it's pretty much down to how you want it and pretty much anyone can live this life so long as they're happy to put in the effort to make it work.
